We had an instrumental version of “The Lighthouse Tale” by Nickel Creek play, the song itself has very tragic lyrics but the melody is beautiful and has long been one of my favorites.

These are all really wonderful songs to play at a wedding. My boyfriend and I are thinking about getting married sometime soon and one of the things we were looking at was the music. I think it would be really fun to have a live band come and play for the wedding. It would make the dance feel a lot more real I think. It has been something I have thought a lot about. You don’t see weddings with a band anymore and I think it would be awesome to have one there to connect new traditions of marriage with old.
