Larry Green has been playing the electric guitar professionally in bands throughout the United States and abroad for 50 years. A true showman, he received a master’s in classical guitar performance from ASU and has given recitals in the US, Mexico, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Israel. He is currently the head of the guitar department (which he initiated) at Brigham Young University where he continues to teach. As a band member, he has opened for many nationally known acts including Pat Benatar, Steve Miller Band, Goo Goo Dolls, Exile, April Wine, Tracy Byrd, and more. Larry continues to play in several party bands such as Jersey Street Band and Crazy Coyote, (which primarily consist of talented Green family members) along with country band, Drive.
