DEE DEE is an actor, singer, and writer, who has performed to sold out crowds for her jazz productions of I Sing What I Want: A Tribute to Jazz Divas, and I’m Feeling Good: A Tribute to Etta and Nina, and To Billie and Ella With Love. With strong roots in jazz and theater she has performed in various jazz trios and stage productions. Stage credits include: Mama (2015 Best of Utah Arts Award), The Third Crossing (2015 Arty Award / Best Local Production), 1940’s Radio Hour, You Can’t Take It with You, Hairspray, Civil War, Annie, Big River, Eclipsed, which became the first play with an all-black and female creative cast and team to premiere on Broadway, and many more. Dee Dee has performed extensively throughout the Wasatch Front and continues to teach and sing with her own jazz trio.
