Mike Tobian and Utah Live Bands is top notch!!! They have the most incredible bands, the dance moves are insane, the crowd is always pumped up! ULB is professional, respects the clients wishes, is on time, with impeccable sound. I love working with them, I've seen their groups perform at probably 200 different weddings and events, you will be so happy you have gone with them! Any type of music, any genre, they have artists to cover all of your needs! I've seen events where they've got a string quartet for the ceremony, a jazz trio for the cocktail hour, a party band for the reception, and a DJ for the after party. Whatever your needs are, Utah Live Bands will elevate your event and execute your vision flawlessly! The Dance Doctors played at our wedding in June and they were fantastic! We had family and friends telling us all weekend that it was the best live band they had ever seen and they were impressed with the range of music they skillfully covered. One guest from Massachusetts asked the band if they travelled because she wanted them to play at her wedding (she's not even engaged yet!). We had a blast - everyone was out on the dance floor all night! People commented on the cocktail hour music and were impressed and two from the band provided our ceremony music as well.Stephen from Dance Doctors/Utah Live Bands was great to work with - he was quick and clear to respond to emails and phone calls. It was easy to set up the contract, coordinate between the band and the venue, and communicate song requests/do-not-plays. We had an outdoor venue and Stephen was able to work with us on tent coverings and power requirements.

We booked The Shuffle Band through Utah Live Bands and when I tell you this band rocked..... OMG!!!! THEY ROCKED!!! The Shuffle Band is a 6 person band and perform covers of 70s/80s/90s/00s rock songs. After talking to them I trusted that I didn't need to micromanage them at all - I didn't provide a song list (I only had a few artists/songs I didn't want played) and they were able to read the crowd and play EXACTLY what everyone wanted to hear!!! The singers sound EXACTLY (if not BETTER) than the original artists . The guitarists and drummer are INSANLEY talented and TOTALLY CRUSHED their solos. Our wedding is going down in history because of this band! We got a million compliments from every guest on the music they played and how amazing they sounded! The band interacted with the crowd, coming down off the stage to sing / play on the dancefloor with us. My husband and I don't really like dancing but YOU COULD NOT PULL US OFF THAT DANCEFLOOR - THE SHUFFLE WAS THAT GOOD!!! HIRE THEM RIGHT NOW!!!!

The Salamanders performed at our New Years Eve Wedding and they were outstanding!!! Their pianist learned 4 new songs for me to make my ceremony music completely custom and it was truly the highlight of my evening! They learned and sang our first dance song, they played for 5 hours (till 1am), and kept us and all our wedding guests (140) on the dance floor the entire time!! They were truly unbelievable and our guests could not stop raving about them!! I cannot recommend them enough!!!

Highly Recommend Dance Doctors! (a Utah Live Band)Dance Doctors were the stars of the show! They absolutely nailed our first dance songs, which were a medley of 2 songs that they executed perfectly. They brought really high energy and our guests were on the dance floor all night long! We opted for the 10pc band and the lead singers had incredible vocal range and diversity in song selection. We included the Hora and Dance Doctors did an excellent job - probably the highlight of our night! To us, music was one of the most important elements in our wedding, and as New Yorker's we didn't hear the band live in advanced, however we absolutely 100% made the best choice by booking Dance Doctors and highly recommend!!

Choosing Drive Country Band as our wedding entertainment was the best decision we made while planning our wedding (aside from choosing each other, of course!!) Our guests can't stop talking about how much fun they had dancing the night away with Drive. All I can say is WOW!!!! We used Utah live bands to book a band for my husband and my 40th birthday bash and I cannot even say how AWESOME the band was!!!! We contacted them about wanting an 80’s band and they sent us a few choices Paradise City was incredible, they sounded so good!!! They were so engaging and made the party a hit!!! I would highly recommend booking a band through Utah live bands for all your events and especially Paradise City!!!

They rocked the house and we couldn't say enough good things about them! They were the talk of the night. They had all the hits and even did some requests from our audience. My wife and I finally got married in Mexico on March 12, 2022 after having to move dates twice due to COVID. We chose Utah Live Band's Groove Merchants back in 2020 after scouring the US for the best 16-piece jazz band. Even though we are not located in the same state and we experienced a couple of wedding date changes, Steve & Michael Tobian (the band's managers) were easy to work with and accommodating to our circumstances.Finally, the long awaited wedding day came and the Groove Merchants Band was the hit of the evening!! The band played soft dinner music while guests ate dinner then moved into an energetic and fun vibe for the dancing portion of the evening that kept our guests dancing all night! The band's coordinated dance moves, the high-energy performance, and the big smiles of the band members left us overjoyed with our decision to go with this band. Our expectations were not only met, but exceeded.We will undoubtedly book them again for another event in the future. Do not hesitate to book this band- you will not be disappointed!

The Salamanders were very literally the life and highlight of the party. Most of our guests don't drink, so it's unusual for a dance floor to be full with this crowd, but we actually had a problem getting people OFF the dance floor! We ended up throwing out more than half of the dessert we ordered because people said they were too busy dancing to go eat. Their music choices were awesome crowd pleasers and they put on a great show with the lighting and dancing. Multiple guests contacted us afterwards asking for their information for their own upcoming events. The band leader was great to work with and followed our timeline exactly. They were all professional, appropriately dressed, and even coordinated secretly with my mom to personalize the lyrics of a song that she and her friends did a surprise dance to. I can guarantee we will be calling back when my siblings are engaged!!

Chill music for the dinner and mingling. Upbeat for the dancing. The vocals were amazing and the band energy was infectious! Each band member went above and beyond to make the wedding memorable for everyone there. Our guests had an awesome time and we had so many compliments regarding the band. Almost 2 weeks later and our wedding guests are STILL raving about the entertainment! Through Utah Live Bands, we were able to hire a DJ, Zoom Live-streaming services and The Roadside Ramblers. From start to finish Mike Tobian (Utah Live Bands Owner & Roadside Ramblers musician) was so accommodating, patient, and kind. Although we had maybe the best wedding planner in the world, planning a destination microwedding during a pandemic presents many challenges and a lot of sleepless nights. Every step of the way, Mike made things easy for us.Livestreaming services: a destination microwedding meant a lot of love ones were not going to be able to attend so making sure they were able to at least watch the ceremony was so important to us. Our virtual guests have complimented not only the quality of the video and audio, but also the ease of logging in (have you tried to have your grandparents log on to a live-stream lately?). They were able to watch us walk down the aisle and exchange vows. While I know that not everyone would necessarily care about this, I did want to note that we had video as well and there was absolutely no interference. In fact, walking down the aisle, I didn't even notice the camera set up until they were taking it down after.DJ: DJ Keith was fantastic! He did the music for the ceremony, music during dinner, and was the MC for the event. His selection was fantastic and he fully respected our do/do not play lists. When it felt like our first dance was getting a little long and I was getting a little awkward, he even cut the music smoothly so we could be done. This sounds silly but wait until its you! Having a DJ/MC that just gets it and can read the room the way he does is SO important. Hire him, you'll thank me later!!The Roadside Ramblers: I cannot say enough good things about them! We used them for both cocktail hour and after dinner. Being a microwedding in a pandemic, we knew our wedding wasn't going to look the same as ones we'd been to in the past. With no dance floor allowed and a guest list of just 22 including us, we were super nervous about our guests being bored or the event being awkward. Instead, it was absolutely amazing! The Roadside Ramblers performed a one hour jazz set during our cocktail hour and then following our sit down 5-course dinner with wine pairing, they took the stage again and helped us transform our wedding from a nice dinner to a jazz/swing lounge. The set list was incredible - think authentic New Orleans swing, highly entertaining and engaging! Let me tell you, no one was bored!! In fact, both sets were so good and so specialized, that everyone thought it was 2 different bands! I'll save you the time on this one too, just hire them - I am SO happy we did!!
