“We chose the UMNH for its unique decor and good price. They don’t really provide any services other than table and chair rental, but we wanted to bring in all our own vendors, so it worked for us. They let us take over the place and allowed us to stay later than initially planned. The location made for awesome photos and our guest had a great time!” – Sue / Married 2010
“The museum is located in Salt Lake City set into a hill and constructed of copper from area Utah mines. This is a modern museum with an active paleontology Department on view while touring. Special events are very timely and well thought out. Echo our guide was very helpful explaining the geology of the area and had incredible insight of the installations. Definitely a must see if only for the view of downtown SLC and the mountains.” – Deborah F.
“This museum is a Utah jewel. There are so many reasons to spend time here. The dinosaur collection is remarkable, but so are the exhibits of ancient civilizations. It’s interactive and awe inspiring. It’s family friendly, but also an excellent place for evening events. I have been to a few receptions here. They were lovely. There’s an amazing view of the valley from the west windows.” – Barbara S.
