Maria Watkins Phippen is versatile harpist who plays corporate events, weddings, professional shows, orchestral work and recordings.

She has performed throughout the world, with performances at the Queen’s Golden Jubilee at Buckingham Palace and with Sir Elton John at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. She has soloed with the Utah Symphony, the Royal Academy Orchestra, and at the Sydney Opera House. She is part of Ballet West’s Utah Chamber Orchestra and the Orchestra at Temple Square.

She is an honors graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she won the distinguished Guy McGrath Harp Prize and studied with Skaila Kanga. Maria began studying the harp at age six and was a student under ShruDeLi Ownbey in Utah and Jana Bouskova at the Prague Conservatory.
